Privacy Policy
Effective Date: 01/05/2025
Right to Work App ("we", "our", or "us") provides this privacy policy to explain how we handle personal data in relation to the Right to Work iOS mobile application (the "App"). This policy complies with applicable data protection laws in the United Kingdom (UK GDPR and DPA 2018), the European Union (GDPR), and the United States (including California Consumer Privacy Act, CCPA).
1. Data We Do Not Collect
We do not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on our servers. All data input by the user, including share codes, dates of birth, verification results, and downloaded files, are stored locally on the user’s device only.
2. No Server-Side Storage
Our infrastructure is designed with a privacy-first architecture:
- Verification data is processed via an ephemeral API request secured via signature authentication.
- PDF verification reports are temporarily stored on the server for asynchronous user access, and automatically deleted after 24 hours.
- No personal information is permanently stored or logged.
- Reports are streamed securely and are permanently deleted after expiration.
3. Local Storage and Responsibility
All user data is saved to local device storage (e.g., SQLite and file system).
Users are responsible for securing access to their device and any actions such as:
- Sharing screenshots
- Exporting files
- Sharing or forwarding verification PDFs
Any resulting data disclosure, loss, or breach caused by user action is outside our control.
4. No Tracking, No Analytics
We do not use:
- Cookies
- SDK-based analytics
- Device fingerprinting
- Advertising identifiers
5. Legal Basis for Processing
As we do not process or control personal data, standard legal bases under GDPR (e.g., consent, legitimate interest) do not apply.
6. Children's Privacy
The App is not intended for use by children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
