Please read these terms and conditions carefully before using RTW Check.
These terms govern your use of RTW Check and the services we provide to you.
Terms of Service
Effective Date: 01/05/2025
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Right to Work iOS mobile application ("App"), provided by DarkhorseOne Ltd ("we", "us", or "our").
By downloading or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the App.
1. Service Description
The App enables employers and agents to perform UK government-compliant right to work checks using official share codes.
2. User Responsibilities
You are solely responsible for:
- Entering correct information (e.g., share code and date of birth)
- Reviewing the returned PDF report
- Managing and securing the data saved on your device
3. Data Retention and Ownership
- All verification data is stored locally on your device.
- We do not retain any copy of your queries or results.
- You are the sole controller of that data.
4. No Warranty
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:
- That the verification result is legally sufficient
- That service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
5. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, DarkhorseOne Ltd shall not be liable for:
- Any data loss due to device malfunction, loss, or theft
- Misuse or unauthorized disclosure of data by the user
- Failures in third-party API availability (e.g., UK Home Office API)
6. Subscription and Payment
The App offers a free plan with limited usage and optional paid subscriptions:
- Free Plan: Users can perform one successful right to work check per calendar month.
- Paid Subscriptions:
- £9.99/month (auto-renewing monthly)
- £99.99/year (auto-renewing annually)
All payments and subscription management are handled via the Apple App Store. We do not process or store any payment information directly.
Users are responsible for managing their subscriptions through their Apple ID settings. Subscription fees will be charged to the user’s Apple account upon confirmation of purchase and will automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Users may cancel or manage their subscriptions by going to their account settings on the App Store after purchase. Unused portions of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when the user purchases a subscription.
We do not offer refunds for unused time or partial periods unless required by applicable consumer protection laws.
Apple requires that subscription pricing, duration, and renewal terms be clearly disclosed before purchase. We fully comply by presenting these terms:
- The subscription will continue unless auto-renew is turned off.
- Your Apple ID will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
- You can manage your subscription and turn off auto-renew in Account Settings after purchase.
Currently, we do not offer referral bonuses or promotions. If promotional programs (such as discounts or referrals) are introduced in future versions of the App, the terms and eligibility criteria will be provided in-app or on our official website.
For questions regarding subscriptions or billing issues, users should refer to Apple's terms or contact Apple Support.
7. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate the service at our discretion and without notice if abuse or misuse is detected.
8. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will be resolved under UK jurisdiction.
